Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系碩士班 === 100 === Intellectual property is a very important strategic tool for the technology industry and the market development. There are many international companies have already invested a lot of funding in the patent-protection for their researches and designs because of preserving more competitive superiority than their competitors. Therefore, more and more Taiwanese industries also realize the importance of patent-protection institution during recent years.
The research target of this thesis mainly focuses on analyzing that what kind of the correlation-trend (positive correlation or negative correlation) exists between the patent-protection institution and the rights and interests of consumers for two important fields. The first field is the biomedical industry and the other one is the high-tech 3C industry. This thesis firstly surveys published literatures and clearly demonstrates that a trend of negative correlation exists between the patent-protection institution and the rights and interests of consumers for the biomedical industry.
However, very few researches address the same qualitative analysis to proof whether the same trend also exists between them for the high-tech 3C industry, especially in Taiwan. Therefore, the trend variation between them will be explored via two research methods further in this thesis. The first research method is the qualitative analysis, namely literature survey, and the second one is the quantitative analysis, namely the questionnaire. After the questionnaire, this thesis further adopts the cross-analysis to find what kind of the variation trend exists between the patent-protection institution and the rights and interests of consumers for the high-tech 3C industry in Taiwan.
The analysis result from this thesis has shown that a trend of positive correlation exists between the patent-protection institution and the rights and interests of consumers for the high-tech 3C industry in Taiwan. In addition, the patent-protection institution and the rights and interests of consumers mutually affect in a positive or a negative correction for different industries via the same research methods presented in this thesis.
