Integrated TAM and TTF model is expected to provide a strong explanation of the inner factors, namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, along with the outer factors, namely task- technology fit. To better understand the adoption of e- textbook, junior high English teachers in Taichung were investigated and the data collected afterward were analyzed with partial least squares, which examines the assumptions and paths among various constructs of the integrated model. Several contributing factors are derived and generalized as following: 1. Task and Technology fit is the key and prominent factor that contribute to the adoption of e- textbook. 2. Functions of e- textbook serve as a significant factor in junior high English teacher’s attitude, behavioral intention. 3. Personal experiences with e- textbook prominently and profoundly influence how well English teachers use e- textbook. 4. A gap is found between the construct of behavioral intention and the construct of actual use, which means English teachers have the intention to adopt e- textbook but in fact they don’t use e- textbooks.
