First, the Interpretive Structural Model technique is adopted to construct a clear model of a hierarchical structure. Next, the Impact Matrix Cross-Reference multiplication Applied to a Classification approach is employed to analyze the effect and dependence among the overall design components, and to consider the relationship network graph of distribution of components in the English e-textbook interface system. Through the Interpretive Structural Model (ISM) and Impact Matrix Cross-Reference multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC), this study attempts to generate a design model of user’s interface components, which satisfies the requirements for different users. The design model, which focuses on the user’s requirements, is expected to create a humane and interactive platform for users to better access the information in e- textbooks.
