Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 生物資訊學系碩士班 === 100 === Along with the progress of living standards and the educational level of the public, personal healthcare has got more awareness and has become one of common concerns in daily life. In addition, traditional Chinese medicine has gradually attracted attention on treating chronic diseases in the Western medical community. The fields related to Chinese medicine have put into a great amount of research work and also have been applied in clinical environment. In the practice of Chinese medicine, aside from herbal drugs, there are acupuncture, moxibustion, and meridian massage. Among these treatments, meridian massage can be used in personal healthcare by oneself in everyday life. In this paper, we use meridian massage as the primary healthcare means to design a personal health management system. We integrate the knowledge of the meridian points and health conditioning information, and provide the map of meridian points and many combinations of meridian points. The system also provides the query function for the twelve meridians associated with their corresponding diseases. By doing so, users can query for different diseases and symptoms according to the needs of individuals, and use this health knowledge and meridian massage methods to nurse back their own health. Furthermore, the system provides a variety of exercises to help for personal healthcare. In addition to meridian-points recuperation, we use the dynamic exercises as an aid for the purpose of maintaining one’s health. In this system, users can not only record, manage and query their own health data, also assess the efficiency of the healthcare methods they used, and find their own healthcare strategy according these records. Finally, this research uses a virtual example to illustrate possible application of this system.
