Summary: | 碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 100 === Camping is a popular form of recreation which often involves the use of tents. A tent is economical and practical because of its portability and low environmental impact. These qualities are necessary when used in the wilderness or backcountry. Tents are preferred by the military for their relatively quick setup and take down times, compared to more traditional shelters. A well-designed tent for military should prevent wind from natural environment; it should also protect the electronic equipment inside the tent from changing of surrounding environment.
The thesis is to re-design and develop a novel and light-weight tent supporting construction and the design of tent’s construction, deployment, and retrieve which the concept of ergonomic engineering will be applied to practice the objective performance evaluation of personal operation. Based on the methodology of ergonomic engineering, information collected will provide a new standard operational process for deploying and retrieving the camouflage net which is expected to be more convenience, time-saving and safety.
The result indicates that about the time performance of the standard operating procedures of deploying and retrieving the tent, the new one (1512 seconds) is 760 seconds faster than the previous one (2272 seconds). The impact of the standard operating procedures of both the prototype tent and new tents on the fatigue level (heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate) is moderate degree.
