Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電機工程學系 === 100 === Focused ultrasound technology has been verified to be able to temporarily disrupt the blood-brain barrier for noninvasive local brain drug delivery. The focused ultrasound need to be designed to be operated at low frequency so that the energy can be transcranially delivered into the deep-seated brain. In order to perform focal ultrasound energy scanning to conform the planned targeting volume, the use of focused ultrasound phased array in electrically off-center steering and scanning is necessary, and the driving system that can comply with the electromagnetic compatibility is required. The aim of this study is to design a 256-channel ultrasound driving system that can comply with the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). In order to comply with EMC, the prototype system contains power source filter and electromagnetic screening. The driving system also contains half-bridge converter for DC-to-AC conversion and buck-type DC-to-DC converting system for power regulation. Impedance matching were also designed to provide high power output for each RF channel. The integrated system tested the electromagnetic compatibility in Electronics Testing Center (ETC) in Taiwan and the testing results showed that the designed 256-channel ultrasound system can comply with the IEC60601-1-2 standard electromagnetic compatibility.
