Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 醫療資訊管理研究所 === 100 === Comparing with the traditional paper-based medical record, the electronic medical record (EMR) is easier to identify and store, and faster to transmit as well. However, we still know little about what factors influencing physician’s satisfaction on EMR system use. This study aims to investigate influencing factors of physician’s satisfaction on EMR system use. The research model was conducted based upon the Expectation-Confirmation Model. The measurement of “expectation on medical service quality improvement” was then developed.. Finally, a survey on Taiwanese physicians was conducted to empirically test the model. We distributed 450 questionnaires and 338 effective responses were collected. The analytical results indicated that the factors significantly influencing physician’s satisfaction including perceived usefulness, confirmation, expectation on medical service quality improvement, and perceived compatibility. In addition, factors significantly influencing physician’s continuous use including perceived usefulness, perceived risk, expectation on medical service quality improvement, subjective norms, and user satisfaction. Finally, implications for academics and practitioners are also provided.
