Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊資訊數位學習碩士在職專班 === 100 === Enterprise makes disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity. As a challenge for IT operations, disaster recovery costs continue to rise but IT budgets shrink or remain the same. Even companies are able to afford to build a disaster-proof infrastructure (including advanced hardware and software), they fail to rehearsal regularly due to afraid to cause problems in the production environments. In this study, we use cloud computing technologies to improve disaster recovery capability. For example, we utilize virtualization software to build/test a "remote backup" mechanism and cloud storage software to build a "data backup "mechanism instantaneously storing the data in the “cloud drive”, which is able to recover data when encountering data loss. Through this preliminary study, we found feasibility evidence supporting the cloud technologies throw lights on the future research direction in disaster recovery.
