Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 100 === With the changes of living patterns and the aging of our society, cardiovascular diseases have become major factors against personal health. In recent years, how to improve personal health receives a lot of attention. Thanks to the advances in various technologies, include VLSI technology, wireless communications, network technologies and signal processing techniques, medical practitioners can take them into consideration and develop better medical devices and services. As the traditional medical behavior gradually evolves, Tele-care may become the most popular long-term care model. This thesis designed and implemented a portable ECG monitoring system on the ANT enabled Android-based smart phone. Cloud service for the tele-care prototype is also developed. In particular, the low-power wireless transmission protocol ANT is used to convey the heart signals to portable devices. Through the ANT receiver, cardiac signals can be immediately drawn on the user's portable device. The ECG signal can also be processed and analyzed. The proposed system provide many useful ECG information for use, including the user's current heart rate (HR), R-R intervals, and heart rate variability (HRV). These information can be stored in the SD card on the phone or be relayed to database in the cloud for further use. The prototype showed that it can work with the cloud computing to achieve remote medical care and self-health management.
