Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 100 === In multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, when the transmitter perfectly knows the channel state information, pre-processing of the transmitted signal can be used to eliminate the interference. In this paper, we use the precoding techniques to decompose the MIMO channel into several independent parallel channels. The most famous precoding technique is perhaps the Tomlinson-Harashimaprecoding (THP) scheme which was original design for intersymbol interference (ISI) channels and was later extended to MIMO systems.
For MIMO systems, THP can be used to eliminate the interference between antennas. One important feature of THP results in different SNRs for different antennas and hence power loading is also an important issue for such systems. In general discussion about THP, there are few researches which focus on combining THP with error correction codes. we will evaluate the system performance on combining THP with LDPC codes in the thesis.
In this paper, we proposed to combine LDPC code and power loarding for THP systems. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves a significant performance gain compared to conventional THP systems.
