Firstly, from the aspect of country characteristic, Taiwanese firms usually invest more in host countries which have relatively lager market potential size. Secondly, as for firm characteristic, relatively to invest in China, firm heterogeneity is indeed the major determinant of FDI location choice of Taiwanese firms.
