Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防大學理工學院 === 化學工程碩士班 === 100 === In this thesis, the thermal decomposition characteristics of different sizes ammonium perchlorate (AP) particles and its mixture with the addition of various burning-rate modifiers were explored. The thermochemical properties of samples were measured by means of differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry analysis, and then the effects of the various burning-rate modifiers on the thermal decomposition of those samples were also evaluated. The research results showed that the peak temperature of the high-temperature thermal decomposition of AP particles with/without burning-rate modifiers are increased with increasing the particle sizes. Furthermore, for 5 accelerated burning-rate modifiers, all of them showed the same positive catalytic reactions for the thermal decomposition of AP, and for another 5 inhibited burning-rate modifiers, the (NH2)2CO had same inhibited effect, but others had positive catalytic effect. Finally, the thermal analysis of mixtures were carried out. The results of analysis showed that aluminum powder acted as an important role with regard to the inhibition of burning rate for propellants.
