program of “The 59 Zhuang Happy Line” was taken as a case study and the content
analysis was employed to deal with the sampling of 57 episodes. The data of eight
interviews were also used. The findings showed that the goal of this program and its
content orientation meet the four purposes of the Hakka television uphold completely.Second, the program contains more traveling spots than the valuable information of Hakka precious cultural assess. Third, there is a gap of cultural cognition between the group of productions of the 59 Zhuang Happy Line and the travel program itself. The study conclusively shows that it is better to keep the balance of the contents between tourism and Hakka culture so that both Hakka culture and its tourism benefits could be spread wider around the world. Finally, the professional at Hakka culture could be invited to join the group of productions such as Hakka seniors and Hakka cultural workers so that the essence of the proper Taiwan Hakka culture would be able to truly present continuously .
