| Summary: | 碩士 === 真理大學 === 統計與精算學系碩士班 === 100 === The insured rate of National Health Insurance (NHI) is up to 99% in Taiwan. The database of National Health Insurance is therefore useful for the medical and insurance researches. The results of NHI’s researches can be used for the medical and health policy and for the design of the insurance products. The outpatient information (CD files) and the hospitalization information (DD files) of NHI’s database are used in this study, and the scope of the data is from year 1996 to year 2006.The study is mainly focused on "The Analysis of Outpatient Frequency Related to Hospitalization" of insurance products. The result of the analysis is compared with the data that are adopted by the insurance company.
Time series is used to fit and predict the data. The model is selected by the AIC values, and the mean average percentage error (MAPE)values are used to evaluate how well does the model predict the data of year 2007-2009.The predictive values of year 2007 is then used to calculate claim costs, and is compared with the premium of the product of ○○ insurance company.
