A business ecosystem provides a new perspective for reshaping a company's position in order to aggressively further its own interests and to promote its overall ecosystem health. Therefore, enterprises should develop business strategies, not only focusing on the company itself, but also considering the overall situation to understand the whole ecosystem based on the symbiotic relationships. Very few attempts have been made on the empirical study of the business ecosystems and its related parties such as consumers. This study tries to extend the research scope of business ecosystem from enterprise level to consumer level. We recognize the consumers in fact play an important role in business ecosystem in contrast to the existed analysis focused on the interaction among companies. In order to explore the unclear relationships, the Wowprime Corporation is selected as our case study. The consumer’s lifestyle surveys and secondary data analysis indicate the symbiotic and competitiveness of those member companies. The symbiotic relationships can advance from interdependence to mutual prosperity.
