It presents reasonable and uniform results, and it can replace the human’s unstable inspection results due to eye’s fatigue and subjective judgments. A basic machine vision system contains a CCD camera, an image capture card, a computer, an illuminant source and image processing software. This research was using a machine vision system to inspect the teeth of a circular saw blade. Under the backlight illumination, the CCD camera picked up the image of the saw blade tooth, measuring the tooth abdomen radius and the tooth depth. In the image pretreatment, the binary processing was carried on to the suitable image gray scale level. The Hole filling and the Median filter were used to reduce the environment noises. To ensure the alignment of saw’s tooth abdomen angle and the tooth depth, the pattern matching method was used to process the characteristics of tooth abdomen and yield the reference position. After image processing, the measured pixel value was transformed into the actual size. To verify the test results on this vision system, an automatic phantom measuring instrument (M-V Vertex 410) was used to determine the accuracy of this vision construction. Meanwhile, a proximity sensor is used to measure the flatness of the saw blade. In the research, LabVIEW programming language was used to develop the testing software, and it captured the image of the saw blade tooth and analyzed its contour. Finally, the inspection data was shown on PC for operators’ references. Chun-Chih Chiu 邱俊智 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 101 zh-TW |
