The first part is array antenna for satellite communication which is qualified high directionality and high gain. It is included dual-feed patch array antenna combined with feeding circuit and spiral array antenna by different feeding position, both of them would generate circular polarization for the designed antennas. While electromagnetic wave propagating by satellites, circular polarized wave could avoid some alignment problems. The second part is reflectarray antenna which is also commonly used in satellite communication for its far-field application. The reflectarray antenna presented in this thesis investigated the delay phase caused by the reflecting element to achieve the property of near-field focusing. Stacking different reflecting elements in different layer produced dual-band result.
