Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 99 === This study aims to explore the effect of surface texture on performance of friction. Surface texture is a method of increase performance of friction by manufacturing on the surface of stainless steel to make specific size and arrangement of patterns, such as pits, dents and convex hull. We changed the parameters of texture to explore the effect of surface texture on performance of friction, compared the simulation with experimental results. The simulation analysis is based on the Reynolds equation and the improved sub-structure finite element algorithms. In order to verify the simulation result, we got the coefficient of friction from Pin-on-Disk wear test, implemented the experiments of using different density of surface texture and texture size and compared with parameters of texture. According the results we can understand the effect of surface texture on friction. In sampling part, we compared the quality of different photoresist coating, exposure and etching time to identify the key operating parameters. The results showed surface texture reduce the friction coefficient. The smaller the density is, the smaller coefficient of friction will be; the bigger the distance is, the smaller the coefficient of friction will be.
