Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 國際企業學程 === 99 === There are many entrepreneurs in Taiwan’s high technology industry, and the numerous new start-ups established by these technology entrepreneurs are one of the important sources that contribute to the rising and flourishing of high technology industry. Many scholars indicate that innovation is the most important goals these start-ups tend to achieve, and their innovation performance can be reflected in their new service development. However, most existing NSD model and research focus on large or mature enterprises, little research do practical research on small high-tech start-ups’ new service development. To address this issue, we take Taiwan’s small high-tech start-ups as our research object to explore how these start-ups develop a new service step by step. We find both small start-ups hold the thinking of “integration” to develop new service, and, the absorptive capability on technology strengthens technology-based new service creation. However, under different company conditions and limited resources, these two start-ups take different manners to generate new service that result in different new service development model. According to the process of new service development implemented by the two small high-tech start-ups, this thesis provides two practical models and makes discussion on our finding.
