The acrylate PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) was prepared via the free-radical solvent polymerization. The properties of the RGO were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TGA, DSC. The oxygen ratio was decreased from 33.68% (graphite oxide type) to 12.39% (RGO type) by SEM-EDS analysis, and it means that the majority of oxygen functional groups were removed. The RGO morphological observation showed the nano-scale laminated shape morphology, which different with the bulk sheet-type of graphite oxide. The anti-static adhesive was prepared by blending the RGO and PSA. And the adhesion and electrical properties were analyzed. The results showed that the adhere properties of the adhesive layer mixed by the PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) and the RGO (reduced graphite oxide) didn’t change apparent with the PSA only. The surface resistance exhibited almost the same values (4×1012Ω/□) through the RA test. The addition of ionic liquid into PSA made the adhere properties substantially decrease, and the surface resistance dramatic increase (4×1010Ω/□ to 9×1013Ω/□). It means that the AS(anti-static) property decreased obviously by the poor compatibility of ionic liquid and PSA due to the change of time, temperature, and humidity. The formation of adhere layer mixed by the RGO and the PSA via the physical blending and chemical bonding showed stable AS and adhesive properties, even after RA tests.
