碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 漢學資料整理研究所碩士班 === 99 === The Book of Poetry is the oldest collection of Chinese poetry so far ,it is presents people''s diverse life appearance at that time, truly reflects the reality of the early ancestors’ life, thoughts and feelings. Myth is the collective creation of ancestors, gradually formed after the accumulation of time, the so-called culture, as a basis for real life and experience, reflects the primitive people whose construction of consciousness and experience of life. This essay will by The Book of Poetry makes the main axle that discuss elaboration of myth, and then attempt by human culture science makes the argument in order to defines the nature of myth of the coordinate origin that in The Book of Poetry. This thesis divides into five chapters: The first chapter is the introduction, its content discuss the motive and method of study, and results of previous research; The second chapter is an overview of the source of The Book of Poetry; The third chapter is the myth and legend of The Book of Poetry; The fourth chapter which is the art manifestation and special characteristic of The Book of Poetry ; Finally, the fifth chapter is a conclusion.
