Description
Summary:碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所碩士班 === 99 === The main purpose of the study is to investigate results how multimedia electronic books enhance the counting ability of students with intellectual disability. The study method adopted the single-subject research of multiple baselines design pattern. Four special-educated students in elementary school with intellectual disability were involved. The students were divided into two groups and experienced courses and tests including learning estimation of three stages -- baseline, intervention, and maintenance. The students in group A only received teaching courses with multimedia electronic books. The others in group B received traditional teaching courses first and then multimedia electronic books. Multimedia electronic books were used in courses that link the relation between number and quantity from 1 to 20. The teaching courses were established by author. The course subject was applied in shopping in the supermarket in daily life. The study was proceeding in three stages with baseline, intervention, and maintenance, and data were further analyzed with visual analysis. The expected results from the study are listed below: A. After receiving teaching courses with multimedia electronic books, there are immediately positive effects for students with intellectual disability to recognize numbers. Even after the withdrawal of courses, the results will be maintained. B. After receiving teaching courses with multimedia electronic books, students with intellectual disability can link number to corresponding quantity of objectives. Even after the withdrawal of courses, the results will be maintained. C. For the counting ability of students with intellectual disability, teaching courses with multimedia electronic books shows better improvements than traditional ones.
