碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 休閒運動研究所碩士班 === 99 === The effect of Junior High School teachers'' Recreational Sports Expectancy-Value Related Beliefs on Leisure Needs Student：Lai, Yu-Chun Advisors：Dr. Chen, Chi-Chang ABSTRACT This article has four objectives, namely : (1) to understand the present status of the recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs of junior high school teachers''; (2) to understand the present status of the leisure needs of junior high school teachers''; (3) to investigate the correlation between recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs and leisure needs; (4) to investigate the effect of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs and leisure needs. Our research subject is composed of junior high school teachers'' (N=384). Based on the research tools used namely “recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs scale”, and “leisure needs scale ”. The collected date was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis. The results were as folloes: 1. In terms of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs of junior high school teachers'', the importance of 「task difficulty 」 is the highest and 「ability expectancy」 is the lowest among all aspects. 2. In terms of leisure needs of junior high school teachers'', the importance of 「physical need」 is the highest and 「self-performance need」 is the lowest among all aspects. 3. There was some positively related between recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs and leisure needs . But the psychological cost of failure of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs was negative correlation to the leisure needs of self-performance need. 4. The utility value and ability expectancy of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs can positively related leisure needs of self-performance need. But the psychological cost failure of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs was negative correlation to the leisure needs of self-performance need, the utility value and ability expectancy of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs can positively related leisure needs of psychological needs and breakthrough and expansion needs, The utility value of recreational sports expectancy-value related beliefs can positively related leisure needs of physical need. In this study, not only are the findings interpreted, but suggestions for the applications of the research and for further studies are provided.
