Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 99 === This thesis presents a buck converter integrated circuit which comprises the soft-start function. The converter adds the function of the start-up circuit which can slow down the rising of the output voltage in the transient. In addition, the circuit can avoid the damage from surge voltage and extend the life of the circuit. Beside the basic single-stage soft-start circuit, this thesis has designed a soft-start circuit including the two-stage increasing voltage. The main function is that when the converter is staring, the time within the first stage of the rising voltage is used for the response time of the controller circuit. After that, the use of slowly increasing start voltage in the second stage is to improve the problem of surge output voltage in order to achieve the purpose of fast soft-start of the converter. Finally, the process technology of TSMC 0.35 2P4M Mixed-signal Polycide 3.3V / 5V is used to implement the integrated-circuit chip. The results of the experiment prove that the output surge voltage from the starting of the converter has been greatly improved and its output is confirmed to be stabilized at 3.3V. The results verify the validity of the proposed soft-start circuit. Moreover, the soft-start circuit proposed by also this thesis can be widely applied to several other kinds of circuits.
