Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 99 === In this thesis, we proposes the method that can extract the objects in natural static images and apply the particle system defined in OpenGL to simulate the dynamic effects. The particle system has advantages on modeling the natural phenomena, including easy maneuverability, verisimilitude effect, and feasible development. The natural phenomena such as explosion, water, sparks, clouds, and smoke are unstable and hard to be perfectly simulated. The particle system can easily manipulate the movement pattern of each particle and get the result that close to the real effect. First, the target object is manually extracted. Then the object is analyzed using image processing techniques. As to the waterfall, the useful features include the source of waterfall, the water area on image, and the range of the water’s pixel intensity. In our experiments, the dynamic waterfall effects in a still image can be successfully generated. The proposed method can be further developed for displaying dynamic effects in digital image frames.
