In order to get the competitive advantage and reduce the production cost, one of the important issues concerning the competitiveness of the companies is the decision to build a new plant.
Expanding the offshore business has some uncertainties; therefore, integrating the current resource with project management on plant-construction under good operation procedures can not only control the constructing progression and quality effectively. but reduce the cost as well as risk. This will make the subsequent business running more flexible.
As there are less academic research, limited reference information and poor information exchange route related to the new building plant project management of LED industry. This research is aimed at the LED factory of W company in China, and based on systematically compiling the procedures and means for LED factory construction management, and discussing the five key issues - cost、schedule、quality 、safety and efficiency - playing the roles in the construction management, and focuses on the personal working experiences and objects to facility’s system project, the related bibliographies of the new building plant project management of LED industry and coordinate all kinds of project management for working.
Hopefully the conclusion of this study that we got from executing the W company case a reference mode that the project administrators will be the best project management model for the LED factory construction project management.
