Personal and family finance both have to develop professional and complete financial planning in terms of financial goals, financial methods, financial strategies, risk assessment, financial concept development, trend of environmental changes, etc. This study investigates office workers’ satisfaction with current financial behavior, financial cognition as well as relationship between satisfaction and importance of current family finance in Tainan City. 286 valid questionnaires are analyzed through STATISTICA 6.0 and statistical approaches used include descriptive statistics analysis, T test, as well as difference analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis of ANOVA. Research findings are as below follows: 1. The degree of office workers’ satisfaction with family finance is only 15% in Taiwan city; 66% of interviewees’ monthly family income falls between NTD 40,001 and 80,000. People whose monthly family income is over NTD 80,001 account for 33%, and this phenomenon deserves special attention. 2. An importance-satisfaction analysis of family finance among office workers in Tainan City shows that they most value risk management of family finance in priority improvement area; however, they are least satisfied with this aspect. Obviously, office workers in Tainan City should first implement self improvement so as to enhance satisfaction with family finance. 3. For office workers in Tainan City, their financial cognition, behavior and family finance are correlated to a certain degree. 4.
