Consequently, following significant issue can arise in those cases: how to select an appropriate AP among available APs. In the existing architecture, the received signal strength is usually used to select an AP. However, such AP selection strategy causes the concentration of MNs to specific APs and MNs cannot use the resource of wireless LAN effectively.Hence, we proposed TRE (Throughput Re-Evaluate ) mechanism as the AP selection strategies, and showed that proposed strategies can achieve opportunity to use redundant wireless resources .
