The research, by means of questionnaire, uses stratified purposive sample to select 300 Taipei City junior high school teachers of Taipei City in 99 school year as research object. The reseach tools are Multidimensional Humor Scale, PE Teacher Job Stress Scale, PE Teacher Teaching Effectiveness Scale. There are 235 valid questionnaires. The result: 1. The matching of PE teacher’s humor, job stress, and teaching effectiveness, according to the survey, is appropriate. 2. Humor of PE teacher has direct and positive effect on teaching effectiveness. 3. Job stress of PE teacher has direct and negative effect on teaching effectiveness. 4. Humor and job stress of PE teacher are negative correlation. Results: Humor of PE teacher has direct and positive effect on teaching effectiveness. Job stress of PE teacher has direct and negative effect on teaching effectiveness. Humor and job stress of PE teacher are negative correlation. The hypotheses are established.
