It not only boosts students' physical and mental health, but also is easy to implement in physical education classes. Elementary school football players’ performance is intimately bound up with the coach leadership behaviors and team cohesion. The coach leadership behaviors can affect each player’s football skills and moreover, have strong influence on the overall performance and development of the team. This study interviewed 438 players who attended the National School Cup on the subjects of coach leadership behaviors and team cohesion. The researcher applied ANOVA to analyze the influence of coach leadership behaviors and team cohesion on different football players who are from different backgrounds. This study has the following findings: 1. Most football coaches tend to take strict training strategies to obtain better results. 2. Football players have good cohesion. 3. On coach leadership behaviors, a. There is no difference between two genders on perceiving of coach leadership behaviors. b. Among football players, different graders show difference in the perceptions of the coach leadership behaviors. c. Football players perceive different coach leadership behaviors from different gender coaches. d. Starter players or second string show no difference on coach leadership behaviors. e. Football players’ performance affects the perceptions of the coach leadership behaviors. 4. On team cohesion, a. There is no difference between two genders on team cohesion. b. Among football players, different graders show significant difference in perception of team cohesion. c. .The gender of the coach is an important factor of team cohesion. d. Starter players or second string show no difference on team cohesion. e. Football players’ performance affects their team cohesion. 5. Abstract
