Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 休閒運動管理學系碩士班 === 99 === The police in charging of the criminal affairs are on the basis of the division of the police force. They take disciplinary actions for those who violate against social laws and orders. Their tasks focus on crime prevention, investigation assistance, research execution, as well as seizure and arrestment. Studies indicate that taking up different kinds of regular exercise or proper leisure activities is an effective way to release pressure and improve life satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation among leisure activities, working stress, and life satisfaction of criminal police under different setting variables.
The instrument of the study is questionnaire survey, including meters of working stress and life satisfaction. The research objects are 350 criminal police. The data were analyzed utilizing descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Schaffe’s method, and Pearson’s Product -moment Correlation Coefficient.
Four conclusions were drawn based on the data analyzed: 1. Those who take in-office duties are more keen on participating in leisure activities. 2. Those who have worked for more than 10 years and whose age are between 35 to 44, have more organizational interaction, workload and personal development. In addition, they have more conflictions on role playing. 3. The older police have higher satisfaction with the whole life condition mostly. And 4. Those whose personality show stronger enthusiastic about leisure activities have lower working stress and higher satisfaction associated to their life condition. Finally, several suggestions in relation to concepts of participating leisure activities and for further study are provided according to the results.
