This research is done by using historical method, documentary analysis and individual interviews and discovered the following:
一、background and usage of swimming pool heating
Swimming pool heating is mainly to overcome cold temperatures for better quality water to the people; backgrounds are,1- during ancient Rome period,hypocaust system was used,this is when swimming pool heating system was born. 2-18th century industrial revolution period,boiler was introduced.3-1928,
9th Olympic games in Amsterdam Holland, heavy oil boiler was used to heat up swimming pool.This is the first time warm water pools was used for international events.
二、swimming pool heating system designs
Swimming pool heating system designs can be grouped into 3 by heating source; 1- boiler system, focus on energy source and exhaust designs, a stable system 2- heat pump system, focus on stable heating, more added values.3- solar energy heating system,focus on collecting and storing solar power,most environmental system.
三、current status and future development of swimming pool heating system
Currently, there are two ways of heating; 1- single heating, mainly gas boiler.2-double heating, mainly boiler and heat pump as a supporter,or mainly heat pump and solar heating as a supporter. A third way of double heating and most common is mainly heat pump and boiler as a supporter.Future development can be divided into 3 groups.1- natural heating by environment 2- PV system heating 3- ICC solar collector
