Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立體育學院 === 運動科學研究所 === 99 === The purpose of present study was to investigate whether attentional bias for threat-related stimuli and self-reported anxiety could be altered by training using a dot probe task in archers. This study recruited eighteen archers which aged 20.00±1.24 years from TPEC and NTSU. All the participants have undergone at least one year of archery training. After the pretest, all the participants were administrated the attentional bias training for six times with each consumes 50 minutes approximately. The entire training required about six weeks and the posttest were executed one day after the last training. One-way ANCOVAs were employed to examine the difference of trait anxiety, competition trait anxiety and competitive state anxiety between the experimental group and the control group after the attentional bias training. The results showed that there is no significant difference in attentional bias pattern, trait anxiety, competition trait anxiety and competitive state anxiety levels between experimental group and control group after training. Failing to observe the differences between these two groups may result from neglecting the different anxious characteristics of participants and inappropriate terms that could not efficiently elicit the sense of threatening. Further related study can modify these factors base on aforementioned suggestion.
