This study aims at understanding what the effect of the irradiation and heat generation on the panel surface is. The efficiency of the PV panel will also be studied and analyzed. In this experiment, a set of solar PV panel testing equipment is set up, the illumination tilt angle of 25 degrees is maintained, and the radiation quantity of halogen lamp is adjusted through the adjustment of light adjustment plate, and solar panel is illuminated to generate PV effect and generates the voltage and current. The four different radiation parameters of 400 ~ 1000 W// are used with the fan power of 0~1.5 W and water flowrate of 0 ~ 1.2 L/min. The data with different variables of water flowrate or fan power are experimented and acquired. It shows from I-V curves that efficiency value can promote 10% at least by the water cooing effect, whereas the value can promote 5% at least by the air cooing effect. Compared with the measurement from the infrared thermal imager, the surface temperature of PV panel is lowered for the water or air cooling. The cooling effect will help the panel promoting the efficiency from the result of this experiments and also lehgthening the life.
