| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 造形藝術研究所 === 99 === Bringing up new ideas is an important part I have learned during the creation in my graduate school years. “ Once the idea is used by others, it will be abandoned by me.” I demand my artworks with such a stringent standard.
This study is divided into three chapters, explaining my state and my change during the creation in my graduate school years, as well as my ideas and reflection on my paintings. In Chapter One, I illustrate the energy hidden in my body and the conflicting environment around me, so as to change the energy into the kinetic energy of my creation. In Chapter Two, I fully explain the change that I take paintings as my creation in the past three years. Similar to the diary, I always ponder while painting and “talk to myself” in the process. By means of painting and changing body out of rationality, that is, from abandoning body in the mind to controlling rationality with thoughts, I explicitly state the body-to-mind trial and struggle in every phrase. In Chapter Three, I mainly explain my opinion toward painting, aiming to find the steps through phrased revolution in the art history. Also, through the investigation of light, I point out the “contemporaneity” pursued by every period and that results in the new painting movement. New technology light media not only influences modern life and turns into the way how people view the world, but also becomes an element used for contemporary creation. I hope to provide some new ideas in the investigation of light transmission, attempting to making a difference from former creations.
