Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 造形藝術研究所 === 99 === Say my artworks are based on daily life experiences. In “Four Sensations in Life,” as recycle, I sort out my feelings towards life to increase values by reusing functional material.
In “Daily Life,” I explain my feelings and attitudes towards myself and the surrounding. “The Accuracy of a Sniper” is about the connection between objects and status of making art. In “Breath Holding,” I explain the functions of a body have reached an extreme suffering. “Anxiety of No-Man” is about my relationships with people in my surrounding. I am trying to figure out my status, and to get some profound viewpoints from rough sorting.
Travel is a way to get away from familiar surroundings, and to get away from daily life. Travel is like intruding an unfamiliar space that appears anxious and strange to me. Things are getting more interesting if my daily life becomes a tour, and tour spots become some looks of everyday/daily life. “Being a Tourist” is about being obsessed with my own feelings, yet trying to bring out different viewpoints. I seem to remain the same status despite of being in different spots. There are some accidental outcomes when switching status. Travel turns out to be a fantasy within one’s being and the void space.
Presentations of images are documents. Insignificant themes are being noticed and reviewed. It is not about telling stories intentionally, but wandering some fantasies of memories.
