| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 99 === This report focuses on the subject of “fused containers” and looks at the combination of such techniques as “metal raising” and “glass slumping”, “tin automatic painting” and “glass fusing”. From 2007 to 2010, the artist produced five series of work that showcase evolving ideas and creative processes. In the same way, the individual pieces detail creative content and the written description and picture record provide a nature chronological structure for the report.
Chapter 1:Cross-discipline – this section details the tools and materials the artist worked with after graduating from university in 2007 and entering graduate school. They also help to explain the emotional experience of the artist.
Chapter 2:Flow and space – In this section the artist utilizes the interior and exterior of the space within vessels, concealment and openness, to explain the possible ways and directions the pieces seek to construct space.
Chapter 3:Awareness and transformation – This section explains how in August 2009 the artist’s creative work was extended and changed. A process of creation and discovery, exploration and opportunity saw the artist become involved in an unfamiliar area of work and this led to many intriguing changes in approach.
Chapter 4:Technical report – This section presents a meta-analysis of the technique used to combine metal and glass, detailing the structure and technique utilized to create the pieces. It also provides readers with a foundation and reference point from which to better understand the creative process.
