Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 99 === The handwriting discourses in this paper are starting from the territory of fiber art. Being fond of the material, the author not only relies on the language of fiber itself, through interactive communication, which has developed serious changes of thinking and creating but also applies them into the works. This written report, The Night Market Life, focuses on two parts: the integration of fiber media and image, and series art works of The Night Market Life. The relationship between the two is constructed by expressing the form of works and the subject matters. When the fiber techniques integrate, through accumulating time and technology, gradually emerge more realistic images. Furthermore, these images need to depend on the qualities of material and structure to process images with textural features; thus, their expressions are different from visual effects of painting or photographs. These kinds of effects are not only the divergences in the way of visual expression but also including daily conceptions, memories and emotions toward fibrous materials. These kinds of effects are not only the divergences in the way of visual expression but also including daily conceptions, memories and emotions toward fibrous materials. On the other hand, The Night Market Life is to treat observing experiences and imagination from the night market as creative elements. The author, at first, focuses on the flicking light in the night market, which is composed of the actual and realistic situations, and the appearances and traits of the stands and later uses these elements from the night market, through fiber art, to create an unique atmosphere of the night market.
