Transforming teachers’ alrealy-hold belief is essential to Education reform. Obviously, it takes time and effort to change the habits as well as the thoughts. Teachers have to keep on reading, go for advanced studies and interact with professionals so that they could interpret new concepts without being influenced by convention mind. On the basis of the aforementioned process, schoolteachers could furnish their specialty which helps them to conduct teaching reform. The integration of nurseries and kindergartens were advocated by Ministry of Education in order to facilitateg the sound development of early childhood education. Meanwhile, academic institutions were involved in the integration program that they guided nursery schools to develop their characteristics. The researcher, as a kindergarten teacher, carried out the action research in the context of the above program which lasted for an academic year. It explored how a teacher refined her teaching belief and clarified the gap between Whole Language theories and practice so that a Whole Language classroom could be gradually built.
