Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所課程與教學碩士學位在職進修專班 === 99 === At first, to obtain comprehensive and fundamental understanding of Xiang-Sheng (Talk show, stand-up comedy), this study adopts the method of literature analysis to investigate the origin of Xiang-Sheng. The author reviews the literature in the related fields such as the types, skills and properties of Xiang-Sheng, the value of Xiang-Sheng, the creation of Xiang-Sheng scripts, and the study and script development of Children’s Xiang-Sheng to establish the theory that is employed as the foundation of this research. In addition, the author also provides his personal views while making discussions. Next, the method of document analysis is applied to explain the ways the author has used in his Xiang-Sheng teaching since 2004. Besides, the author’s twenty-two original scripts, and four adapted scripts of Children’s Xiang-Sheng are reviewed and analyzed. The suggestions from the author then are provided. Following are the conclusions of this study. 1. Xiang-Sheng is a highly difficult and skilled art that combines language, performance and comedy. 2. According to the number of performers, there are single, double and group Xiang-Shengs. 3. Xiang-Sheng emphasizes on the skill of speaking, and fun is the goal of performance. 4. The properties of Xiang-Sheng should be natural and fit in with the performers and the script. 5. Xiang-Sheng has the functions of entertainment and education. 6. Humor, related to daily life, is the key component while a Xiang-Sheng script is being created. 7. People need to make more efforts to study Children’s Xiang-Sheng and to create scripts of Children’s Xiang-Sheng. In accordance with the conclusions, suggestions are provided as followed. 1. Suggestions for educational administration (1) Arrange more performance activities and big contests; (2) Xiang-Sheng scriptsm may be included in the Chinese textbooks; (3) Xiang-Sheng appreciation may be included in the art textbooks. 2. Suggestions for schools (1) Promote Xiang-Sheng via after-school activities; (2) Promote Xiang-Sheng by establishing school teams; (3) Provide more opportunities for performance and emulation. 3. Suggestions for teachers (1) Adopt a Xiang-Sheng teaching style or teach Xiang-Sheng on a fixed schedule; (2) Use cautiously the authorized teaching materials or create your own script; (3) Teach students according to their capabilities, teach them step by step, and encourage them to perform Xiang-Sheng; (4) Teachers can create new scripts to enhance children’s interests in Xiang-Sheng.
