Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 環境教育與資源研究所環境教育組 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status, influence of extracurricular environmental protection or pollution field activities on cognition and behavioral intention toward environmental hormones in non-environmental-related undergraduates. Furthermore, self-edited interpretation of environmental hormone brochures were used to examine the relationship between cognition and behavioral intention. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The results showed influences of age, sex, extracurricular activities and interest on cognition were significant; sex, school courses and extracurricular activities on behavioral intention were significant. Subjects without experiences of extracurricular environmental protection or pollution field activities performed well in both cognition and behavioral intention of environmental hormones; Subjects interested in environmental protection or pollution field performed well in cognition of environmental hormones; interpretation of environmental hormone brochures had an advanced affection both on cognition and behavioral intention. It was showed in this study, cognition and behavioral intention of environmental hormones were relative, but strength of behavioral intention needs longer time. Based on the results and discussion, the suggestions were: information send over through specific media was effectively in promoting environmental cognition and strengthening behavioral intention.
