Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北醫學大學 === 生物醫學材料研究所 === 99 === Implantation is a good and predictable solution to solve the edentulous problem. Patient’s expect is to receive more comfort procedure and more predictable treatment outcome. One-piece implant is a solution way to satisfy patient’s needs. The retrospective analysis of clinical outcome of one-piece implant was investigated in this research. A total 531 Q implant and OCO implants of 109 patients were included in this study. No specific case selection including controlled systemic diseases, smoking, bruxium was performed. The implants placed at insufficient bone volume region should be reconstructed with short implant or bone graft were also included in this study. The overall one-piece implants survival rate was 91.90% and the overall survival period was 848.37 days. Bruxium, short implant length and insufficient bone volume combined bone graft increased implant failure rate. Overall, one-piece implant is a simple and predictable treatment choice. Conditions that were found to be correlated with an increased risk of failure should be considered during treatment planning.
