Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 中等學校教師在職進修數學教學碩士學位班 === 99 === This study is an extensive curriculum research which aims at improving mathematics teaching in junior high schools. On one hand, the researcher hopes that the result helps accelerate teachers’ professional growth, and provides students with multiple problem-solving skills. On the other hand, the deeper and broader curriculum extends needs for students in different levels and also their learning willingness. The action research is open to teachers in need and the purposes of this study are as followed:
1.After learning the extensive material, students have positive learning attitude towards math.
2.The design and arrangement of the learning material help students solve math problems.
3.After learning the extensive material, students’ learning effect has been enhanced.
The action research implemented the extensive material in teaching, and then an assessment was held, followed a further comparison and analysis on the scores. At the end, proper conclusions and suggestions were raised according to the results.
