Calcium chloride is able to absorb the moisture in the outside air through the air-conditioning system, to decrease the humidity of outside air, to lower the energy expenditure in desiccation of the air-conditioner. The design of the system is not only to meet the loading requirement of air-conditioning system, but also to achieve the goal of recovering the energy as much as possible in the exhaust air before it is expelled into atmosphere from the air-conditioning system. 柯明村 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 64 zh-TW |

碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 能源與冷凍空調工程系碩士班 === 99 === It has been demonstrated that calcium chloride-containing liquid desiccant system could decrease not only the desiccation loads of outside air handling unit about 500 kWh under the condition of operating volume 843 CMM and the leaving air wet bulb temperature 18 ℃, but also the seasonal electric peak consumption and the volume of chiller prepared for summer season. Liquid desiccant system can enhance the removal of biological aerosols and, therefore, improve the indoor air quality.
This study focus on the opened liquid desiccant system in which calcium chloride solution has direct contact with air and acts as a desiccant and heat transfer decrease the desiccation loads of outside air handling unit.
