Expecting to achieve the goal of low carbon products, enterprises have to consider that all of the supply chain members and the environment factors when implementing green supply chain management. The green collaborative-design processes were not systematical because of the lacks of the standard operations reference model. This research discusses the green collaborative-design model planning among enterprises with their upstream and downstream firms when implementing carbon footprint systems in supply chain. This research discusses interactions between enterprises by using Design Chain Operation Reference Model (DCOR). Because DCOR did not contain carbon footprint issues, this research expounded on carbon footprint operations first, and then make the discussions about collaborative-design. Then we combine the level 4 of carbon footprint DCOR model with multi-agent system approach, convert it into agent specifications and develop multi-agent system based on DCOR model. At final, we discuss the interactions among enterprises with their upstream and downstream firms when implementing carbon footprint systems.
