However, these alloys are chemically active and exhibit inferior corrosion resistance, which has been limited to their practical application. Due to the hazardous pollution environmentally from hexa-valent chromium ion, the non-chromates of surface treatment on AZ61method were proposed in this study. The electrochemical characteristics of treated specimens were elucidated by AC impedance methods. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy data were obtained from Solartron equipments with electrochemical interface and frequency response analyzer, which covered frequency range up to 106 Hz of 10 mV rms signal amplitude.
