Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災研究所 === 99 === The Wu River in Taiwan also known as the Dadu River is located in central west Taiwan. It is 116km flows through Nantou, Taichung, Changhua. The Wu river estuary is one of most important wetlands in Taiwan. The sources of pollution of Wu river are domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater, with high concentrations of heavy metals which pose an serious impacts on river ecology. In this study, the 2D RMA2 and WASP water quality models are employed to simulate and evaluate the nutrient concentrations in the Wu River. This analysis can be used to a method to estimate water capacity for the Wu river but also be a reference for the simulations of water purity and applications of model in the future.
