It addresses the characteristics of Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL), and presents computer simulation model for CCFL module, transformer and full bridge inverter including parasitic leakage current paths and stray capacitance. This thesis studies the quasi resonant full bridge inverter driving behavior for symmetrical Phase-shift and asymmetrical complementation types. It also discusses In-Phase, ZVS and ZCS control methods. It analyzes full bridge inverter power stage and RLC tank circuit behavior operating in the quasi resonant mode. This thesis uses computer simulation model to analyze quasi resonant full bridge inverter performance operating in different modes of In-Phase, ZVS and ZCS. The simulation can optimize the quasi resonant full bridge inverter operating condition by driving with quasi sinusoidal waveform in order to achieve the optimal efficiency.
