Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 資源工程研究所 === 99 === Geopolymerization was named by Jeosph Davidovits in 1987, it can transfer materials containing Si and Al into geopolymer with high mechanical strength and fire and chemical resistance. The structure of geopolymer was semi-crystalline or amorphous by Si-O-Si(Al) covalent bond liked Zeolite. It has unique mechanical and physical properties as potential applications to substrate Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). In this research, geopolymer were prepared by metakaolin or glass powder mixing alkali solution with different SiO2/Na2O, SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio. Physical properties of the geopolymer were carried out by compressive and flexural strength test and bulk density test. Microstructure characterization of the product was carried out by FT-IR, 29Si and 27Al MAS NMR spectroscopy. The mechanical properties of geopolymer were hard but easily fragment. In order to increasing the toughness, organic resin can modify characters of geopolymer was added. It was found the geopolymer doping by 1wt% organic resin showed the highest toughness at different curing days.
