Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 資訊工程系研究所 === 99 === We use volume rendering to render the 921 Chi-Chi earthquake measurement data and simulation data in order to provide an easy way for researchers to observe the 3D earthquake data. By comparing measurement data and simulation data, we try to find the differences to dig more useful information. However, it is not easy to compare the volume data sets directly, so we use ambient occlusion to compute the ambient value of each voxel and apply deformation which can help observe the heterogeneity.
